The river was famous for its gigantic limestone formation which serves as shelter for indigenous people living in the area.

Governor’s Rapid was named after a Japanese governor during world war II, where the road network of in the area was not yet developed, instead the river was used for easier way for transferring from one place to another.According to the story, the Japanese Governor died in the rapid of the river, and the remain never found, since then, the river was called governor’s rapid.

To explore the beauty of the cave and to experience the fresh and cold clear water of the falls, spelunkers need to crawl for about 50 meters in the sand. Crawling is not easy, because rubbing knees in the sand gives pains, you need to cover or wear a below knees pants or short  to avoid scratches and bruises  in your knees.

Reaching the clean and cold water falls is beyond expectation.  The falls is amazing . The water is coming from the unknown.

While enjoying in the basin of the falls, they considered the adventure is done/finish and forgot that there’s more inside the cave.

Most of the participants are first timer, their fear in in the dark was easily overcome, and they  easily define that spelunking or caving  is a fun recreational activity that can be enjoyed by all ages and will help appreciate the wonders beneath the earth as it correlates to nature outside the earth.
