Pandan Island in Sablayan Occidental Mindoro, offers a vast stretch of beach with pristine white sand, much like the more famous Boracay Island. It has shallow, temperate waters which are good for swimming and snorkeling. The landscape consists of lush forest where can be found some rock formations. There are many excellent dive sites around the island as a home to a variety of marine creatures.
Aside of beach bumming, scuba diving and snorkeling in the corals garden around Pandan Island is the most popular and exiting adventure to engage in. Pandan Island is the home of giant turtles, that made this island famous.
Discovering the presence of the clown fish known as Nemo in the water of Pandan island gives a great fun while playing with this species of fish.
