A Treasured Spot 

IMG_0878Katibawasan Falls is  located 4.6 kilometers southeast of Mambajao at the foot of Mt. Timpoong, Upper Pandan,  island of Camiguin.

IMG_0884It measures about 250 feet which cascades to a man made rock pool surrounded by ground orchids, wild ferns, trees and and a few large boulders which are natural stone from the rivers. Ice cold water provides an ideal summer splash to bathers and picnickers.

IMG_0890The falls tumble down into a green pool, ideal for a refreshing swim. Giant ferns decorate the surrounding land, carpeting for space with huge trees and dropping vines.
