Sitio Madlum is located in San Miguel Bulacan,. This is one of the 5 sitios of Baranggay(Village) Sibul. Madlum name was derived from Pampangenos term “Madlum” meaning dark, because of its famous caves.
Madlum is located in the northern part of the Biak na Bato National Park also has historical significance as the katipuneros used the mountain ranges as camp and hiding place.
Ang Sitio Madlum ay halos pinaliligiran ng mga ibat ibang yungib. Isa rin sa nakakaakit na lugar ay ang Mount Manalmon, Ang kanilang mga ilog at ang malalaking tinipak na bato sa paligid, kung saan ang mag bisita at turista ay halos makalimutan ang pagod, dahil sa kagandahan ng lugar.

Mount Manalmon Summit is facing the summit of mount Gola, as well as the scene of mighty Madlum river.
It offers the spectacular view of Sierra Madre Mountain ranges and the plains of Central Luzon, while on the other side is the dramatic view of Mount Arayat of Pampanga.
Trekking to Mount Manalmon not required much stamina, endurance and courage. This is just an easy trekking, but it gives a wonderful sight.
There are two trails leading to summit, the easy but longer and short trail but more challenging.

Bayukbok Cave is one of the famous cave in Madlum, the caves is connected by 8 caves such as Victoria Cave, Bayukbok 2, Madlum Cave and Pebbles Cave and others like Music Room Caves where the rocks gives different sound.
Madlum Caves is ideal for experienced and non experienced spelunkers(cavers). Guides are available in a very reasonable amount.
This caves have a lot of narrow passage and vertical drops. It requires some careful rock climbing skill because some part are slippery and muddy due to drop of water from stalactites, but it doesn’t required much stamina and perseverance because spelunking in this caves is just so short compare to Sagada Caves.
Madlum Caves is another magical place few kilometers away from the city.

Swimming is the activity that you cannot avoid, its so refreshing before, after and during the heavy jam pack activity in Madlum. Feel the clear cold water while in the midst of stunning views of massive rock formation and awesome landscape

Mamamayang may Aksyon Dulot ng Likas-yamang Umuugnay sa Madlum
ay kaakibat ng Miriam PEACE at ng ahensya mg DENR para protecthan ang natitirang likas yamam ng Biak na Bato. Isa sa kanilang proyekyo ay pagpapalaganap ng “indigenous species” ng punong kahoy gaya ng narra at bungang kahoy sa kanilang bahay-halamanan. Maliban dito, sila ay mayroon ding reforestation area sa loob ng parke na kung saan nila dinadala ang kanilang mga tanim. Ang naturang samahan ay nakikibahagi din sa mga pulong ng Protected Area Management Board sa pagtatalakay ng isyu, problema, solusyon at mga balakin sa parke.
Getting There
By own car
Take North Luzon Express Way (NLEX) Exit at Sta Rita then follow the road Cagayan Valley highway Upon reaching the town proper of San Miguel Bulacan, there is a right turn in Barangay Camias. For about 10 kilometers there a sign board indicating the way to Madlum.
By Public Transport
There are number of bus company bound for Cabanatuan, like Baliwag Transit, Five Star, and ES Bus along EDSA near Cubao, Remind the driver or conductor to drop you in Barangay Camias. From there, there are tricycle terminal that bring you to Barangay Madlum.

Pwede naman mag swimming sa Madlum River, except nga lang kung may pagsama ng panahon,o kaya tagulan, na kung saan di man umuulan sa kinalalagyan mo pero umuulan sa ibang lugar, na dumadaloy sa sa mga ilog. Ang pinakadilikadong lugar sa madlum ay yung sa bandang likod, na dinadaan o tinatawag nila na river crossing, daan ito papunta ng Mt. Manalmon, na medyo mababaw ngunit malakas ang rapid, kahit tag araw. ay talagang malakas ang agos sa lugar na yon. Pero higit sa lahat ibayong pag iingat ang kailangan, di man sa Madlum kundi sa iba pang ilog….
